The reproduction of a diary of Aryeh Klonicki (Klonymus) and his wife Malwina, covering a bare fortnight in time but encapsulating the Jewish tragedy during the Holocaust.

 

As the preface says, page 9, "The diary was written during the final phase in the liquidation of Galician Jewry. The Ghettos had been destroyed and their inhabitants about 450,000 transported to the annihilation camps, mainly to Belzec." The authors of the diary did not survive. Translated into English by Avner Tomaschoff.
