SIPRI Yearbook 2006: Armaments, Disarmament and International Security (2006)
The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute is an independent international institute for research into problems of peace and conflict, especially those of arms control and disarmament. It was established in 1966 to commemorate Sweden’s 150 years of unbroken peace.
The 37th edition of the SIPRI Yearbook analyses key developments in 2005 in security and conflicts; military spending and armaments; non-proliferation; arms control; and disarmament. This major publication will also contain extensive annexes on arms control and disarmament agreements, and a chronology of security- and arms-control-related events.
