Minx Goes to The Front (1919) By C. N. & A. M. Williamson
The Williamsons made their name writing novels of travel and adventure featuring motor-cars. The Minx Goes to the Front -- the first of four short novels in this collection -- is a strange addition to the sequence; a half light-hearted, half-serious trip around the front lines of the First World War by car, led by Miss Mix ("the Minx"). The other stories also have wartime settings: and the additional short story A Moving Picture in Belgium also involves the war, as well as cars and silent film-making. Scarce.
