Friends Of France: The Field Service Of The American Ambulance Described By Its Members (1916)

 

Members of the Field Service of the American Ambulance have compiled a series of essays, poems, drawings, photographs, and tributes and citations that reflect the important work they performed in France during World War I. They were inspired by the Inspector of the Field Service A. Piatt Andrew, who reorganized and furthered the work of the Field Service. A list of the citations at the end is accompanied by portraits of each member.
