Framed Glassed Limited Edition Print 'Zemke's Wolf Pack' (1989) By Robert Taylor
 
Shows an American formation of P47 Thunderbolt fighters banking sharply in the clouds.
 
This print depicts Col. Hub Zemke and members of his famous 56th Fighter Group breaking off to defend a stricken B-17 from attack by German aircraft. While under Zemke's command, the 56th FG destroyed over 500 of the eventual 665.5 German aircraft the group was credited with destroying in World War II, and he himself claimed shot down 15.25 of those. Gabby Gabreski with 34.5 victories, Robert Johnson with 28 victories, and  Walker Bud Mahurin who shot down 21 German aircraft.
