From these, he has clearly evoked what it feels like to be an Australian living and working in Vietnam. An interesting and perceptive account of Australian soldiers in action in Vietnam. 
 
Interesting description of Long Tan including an account of Australian atrocities after the battle. 'What we must also remember is that it is the country of the Vietnamese, and in the end, the solution will be a Vietnamese one.'
