I am currently sitting across from Mrs. Biggles in the local public library charging devices and working out operations for the week.
While supporting the local library is a most admirable action the main reason is the fact we still have no power for three days now and after three days of rain, only which perhaps Noah could appreciate, the flooding is only now receding here in Brisbane. So while I wait for the dove to return I will update you on a few items coming into the store over the next few days (once power is finally restored).
Europe has entered into a period of History with all our fears bottled up from the Cold War been smashed open as Russian forces breached the Ukrainian Borders last week. In casting this die there seems little recourse but for this conflict to escalate, as NATO forces rush to reinforce it's Eastern Borders and deliver 'aid' to the Ukrainian Forces, who are fighting against a new Russian military doctrine. With Putin's order this morning to place his Nuclear forces on alert, one would hope negotiations will start in earnest to broker a peace for this area. I am still placing a number of these Military Journals from RAND and prophetically they have been alarmingly apt in creating a snapshot of why certain nations spend so much on their GDP on defence and security.
After a good stash of rare Military History books were placed into collections last week, keep a lookout for more War Movies DVD titles to be added into the store over the next days.
To date we have over 500 DVD titles in the store with the list growing each week.
You have the option to purchase these individually or subscribe to our Rental Program (Brisbane Chaps only) where you can access this great Military Aid package each month.

That's it for now and as I climb back into the Kayak to head home back to the shop, our prayers go out to the people of Ukraine and may Peace come quickly.
Tally Ho!
